Girls' Festival Hits Liverpool

FA Girls' Football Festival
Free FA event arrives at Liverpool One on Thursday.

The FA Girls' Football Festival comes to Liverpool One Shopping Centre on Thursday 5 April - and Everton Ladies stars will be in attendance.
England internationals Jill Scott and Natasha Dowie will join a Liverpool Ladies duo as the countdown to the new WSL campaign continues.
To co-incide with the season's kick-off on Easter Sunday, the free Festival arrives in Merseyside for the ninth date of the tour around England.

With ten more venues to be visited across the country, hundreds of girls aged 5-17 have the chance to engage in an exciting, interactive football experience.
The Festival is free for all girls and their families and will include activities involving football, lifestyle and music such as games and competitions, skills and drills with FA-approved coaches, prizes for all and digital stations to use whilst taking a rest.

Kelly Simmons, The FA Head of National Game, said: “The FA Girls’ Football Festival is a fantastic platform for girls of all abilities to develop their skills and understanding of the game in a fun, friendly and engaging way.
"We want more girls up and down the country playing football and learning in an enjoyable environment, and we look forward to seeing them come along and have a great day with us."

The event at Liverpool One Shopping Centre, Chavesse Park, Warren Street will run from 11am-4pm.
